Makeup does wonders…it really does!

17 Jan

“we all have a ‘friend’ “…. well not exactly a friend but an aquaitance who looks awesome in pictures and in reality not even close… I don’t want to be rude by saying this, but The difference between face with makeup and face without shouldn’t be as big as it is in some cases… i mean, some girls don’t look the same with makeup on, it’s like they changed to a whole new person …

If you wear makeup, how much is too much? Where is the line between enhancing yourself and completely transform yourself????

A moral question should be asked here… if you are ugly [face it, if your mom is the only one to think you are beautiful you are ugly] -so- if you’re ugly and you want to improve that, regardless of all you other talents, you decide to put a mask through makeup, do you really become fake?? I’m not sure what I think about these people…I’d say it’s quite admirable to try your best to be pretty for yourself and for others, but on the other hand, what if you turn into total fake???

do you have a friend like that? is she or isn’t she fake??

i really need help with this dilemma….

I have a friend that really likes make-up and puts a lot on everyday. Although there is a big difference between the way she looks with makeup and her fresh out of bed look, she is beautiful both ways.
I wouldn’t say she’s fake, she just has a real passion for eyeshadow and mascara 🙂

Everybody knows someone who is obsessed with make-up or at least addicted to it, but this doesn’t mean that they are fake or not beautiful enough. Unfortunately, there are cases when girls can’t make a difference between a natural face and a “fake” one.

I agree with you in principal that makeup does wonders. Have you ever seen Rue Paul’s Drag Race… Well you do se HUGE transformations with the makeup these guys (er… gals) wear. And yes, it is a persona they put on.

And yea, some women overdo the makeup. Too much foundation or the foundation is in the wrong shade, Eyebrows created by the eyebrow pencil and not by GOD, Too thin lips are made bigger withthe trick of the lipliner and the lipstick and yes, there are many many more tricks. And yes… we all wear masks from time to time, but these are the masks of personality, not makeup. But thien it all boils down to Self Esteem and Self Love. The trick is to love yourself enough to accept yourself, just the way God made you.

Doll, I like where you went with this post. Can I borrow it for my blog? Thanks in advance and you posed some very intriguing questions about beauty and self-esteem. And remeber everyone…

Beauty is fleeting, but character lasts a lifetime.

I appreciate your opinion, go on and borrow it/reblog it. I think sharing is caring 🙂 and as long as we all share beauty, we will become better 🙂

I guess we’re all made up of all the masks we put on, for others or for ourselves…it’s natural, so we better make them as pretty as we can.

ps: only make sure you tag me in your post 🙂 xox
